Summer...

Puuuh... summer definitely arrived. It hit us this week with temperatures constantly way above 30°. It might sound weird for all those who are sitting in Europe with cold weather but it is sometimes just too hot. Today we had outage in the office. Was Ok as we all left on time ;-) At home when we opened the window it was like standing in front of a hairdryer... Luckily here it cools down at night and we can sit on the balcony and enjoy the evening when it's dark. That's the big difference between Amman and the rest of the region. All my friends down south are complaining about the heat... be it in Riyadh (KSA), Doha or Dubai. It is already really hot and humid (except in Riyadh ;-)there, so we are really lucky here :-) Somebody told me that last week in Mekka it was 57°C! I wish I could send some of the heat to Europe in exchange for some rain ;-) that would really be a win-win situation!

No news are good news and so far all is good. We hopefully will have some new stories from here soon :-)
