Last weekend was really cool. First my buddy and I hung out and enjoyed Thursday evening watching the sunset, having a great BBQ and tasting the Single Malt he brought me from the Duty Free in Beirut (the best equipped Duty Free when it comes to Single malts I've ever seen in this world...) Wanna know which one it was? Check here: http://www.glenmorangie.com/our-whiskies/lasanta
We went to bed late and slept in on Friday. Friday we planned to go and hang out at the club but we ended up helping Katja preparing for the party. Our main plan was to prepare a Chili con carne, meat balls and pasta salad. It takes a moment to prepare everything when you invited over 20 persons! We finished around early afternoon, jumped into the pool and I put my head down after the pool as I was a bit tired. Our friends started to arrive at around 1930, the last ones arrived at 2230ish... we managed to have people from Switzerland, Austria, England, Germany, Italy, France, Canada, USA, Jordanians, Brazilian, Algerian and I am sure I missed some... the party was a blast! We had such a great time and it is at the end such good moments and people who count. A lot of things here are really different but the community and friend we have here is great. We finished at around 0230ish and went to bed as my good friend who spent some two weeks here had to leave Saturday. (AB, it was really great having you over. Have a great time in London! BIG HUG from Jordan from us!) I wrote it many times already ...it just sucks when people leave... we really love to have our friends around us and we enjoy every day with them. Although we know that the day will come, it hits you everytime. Even worse this time is, that a very nice person is definitely leaving Jordan. We really love her as she is such a nice person. We really hope to see her soon somewhere in this world. SJ we love you! We wish you all the best in whatever you will do! Take good care! Hasta luego!
Tomorrow the next friends will be arriving ;-) (Bayt Lelli is really sold out ;-) And again we are looking forward having them with us and for sure it will so suck and we will feel bad when they will be leaving us... but I guess we are just too nice people and we cannot stop having friends around us ;-)
Take good care wherever you are in this world! Big hug from Jordan!
