Pouring rain...

It's incredible... it is raining non stop. Streets are flooded and of course the houses are not insulated and water leaks in. The temperature is really low and we have around 4° in the morning and also during the day... Today we had heavy fog, so bad that I did not see anything while driving. Traffic is usually bad but when it rains it gets dangerous. As you have water everywhere and the sewage is flooded, you cannot really see the street anymore and you can hit a hole any moment. The funny thing is that the poor guy who washes my car still keeps washing my car even if, as soon as I get out of the garage the car looks worse than before ;-) no chance to tell him to stop. He was told to clean the cars and that's what he will do! Luckily the garage was not flooded (yet) but as a precaution I took my boots with me in the car, just for the case the garage would be flooded... walking in such water in business shoes is not fun ;-)

is strange... in summer we cannot wait to get rain...once we get it we want to get rid of it ;-)
