The new year is still new but it is already too busy... lots f things to do, many trips upcoming and lots of pending issues... anyway, we had last weekend our first cheese foundue in Jordan! We invited good friens who never had the Swiss most traditional dish... the funny thing was and this is funny only for those who ever had cheese fondue, is that the colleague asked me if he had to eat dinner before coming to eat fondue and he was sceptic if he would have enough from eating only cheese ;-) He had enough and there were even some leftover...
Tomorrow the Russian president will be in town :-) all the streets are flaged with the russian national antem :-) very nice! I remember when the Swiss and the Finnish premier were here. All stereets were decorated with flags too.
One cool thing we just found out: easyjet (low cost carrier) flies to Amman! Downside (there is always one ;-) only out of London Gatwick. Good thing: very cheap!! Downside: lelli's lodge ius almost totally booked ;-)
For allthose who like football: Jordan won against KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) and Syria and is now qualified for the Asia cup! The streets were packed, hundreds of cars jamed honking! Great stuff! Like in Italia ;-)
